services for people with cancer and their family/ caregivers.
We provide technical support for life-saving and world class cancer research in
Afghanistan.
ASAC is the country’s largest
source of information about cancer and its effects. We have a range of information
including booklets, leaflets, tapes, CDs, information sheets, videos and books.
We also have a Directory of Cancer Information Providers.
Information is available free at our main
National Office. Booklets, Information Sheets and other information resources can
also be downloaded directly from our website.
The health promotion team encourages
Afghans to live a healthier lifestyle. They do this through education, advocacy,
policy and communication mainly on the following topics:
